Who Stacks up as the All-Time Greats

The negro leagues have long been one of the saddest yet most fascinating subjects we have in our vast american sports history.Arguements over who are the greatest and who belongs in the Hall of Fame go on so spiritedly, mainly because the lack statistical evidence from the Negro Leagues which leaves us with not much more that opinion and memories to go on. The basis for this report is two fold to use the calculations we used in the manager report to find out who are the greatest franchises of all time.The second and more challenging report, which with the lack of statistical history might gives us more questions than answers, will be to use what little info we have in negro league play alone and try and rate the players on league play only.This won't tell us who the best players of all time, but hopefully insight to those who dominiated with the few stats that we have. We will use the following parameters:

A)POINTS BASED ON WHO THE LEAGUE LEADERS WERE IN HOMERS AND BATTING AVERAGE, THE TWO MOST CONSISTENT STATS THAT SEEM TO POP UP.

B)POINTS BASED ON APPEARANCES IN THE EAST WEST GAME. ALTHOUGH I KNOW THE FANS VOTED ON SOME OF THESES GAMES, THEY STILL HAD A FIRST HAND VIEW OF WHO THE STARS WERE AND A BETTER VIEW THAN MOST OF US HAD.

C)POINTS BASED ON CERTAIN LEVELS OF STATISTICS REACHED ON INDIVIDUAL STATISTICS FOR THE LEAGUE LEADERS. THIS IS WHERE A TURKEY STEARNES LEADING THE LEAGUE WITH 20 HOMERS WILL BE REWARDED OVER A WILLIARD BROWN LEADING WITH 3.

There were a couple factors in the team ratings. The first was like in the managerial rankings, the team got credit only for the highest title they won(IE: if they won a world title that's the only thing they got credit for, not for a league title or 1/2 season title). The second was that the records only reflect the team's actual negro league play that we have records of so far, not any exibition or negro league play that has not been substatiated.Every week we will ad a couple more teams.
